A surge in online sales has boosted trade at premium menswear independent
John Anthony thanks to a Derbyshire web company. The brand has experienced a
350% rise in internet sales over the past nine months since Alt-Design in Derby
revamped its website.
Owner John Nooney said: "Sales are up compared to the same
period last year and we believe our new and improved website is helping us to
ride out the economic storm." Alt Design relaunched the website earlier
this year with a new design and integrated sales and stock data from the store
direct to the website for live stock checking. The new website can be found at

Nooney added : "A lot of our boosted
sales revenue is to do with our excellent customer service online . The website
has to be up to scratch , easy to navigate around and appealing to our market.
"We now offer next-day delivery and package all of our products in premium wrapping
paper. We provide a bespoke, first-class service and aim to exceeed customer
expectations."
